What better way to welcome guests to gatherings than with a lantern-lined pathway, lit by a celestial array of stars. Or for an enchanting interior ambience why not cluster a few different styles to create an exotic display? Regardless of whether lanterns are used indoors or out you can’t deny their atmospheric qualities and for that reason alone we’re coveting this stunning collection by Atipico Lanterne. Highly decorative metal designs feature intricate cut-outs and white-wash finishes, while beautiful natural bamboo offerings boast cage-like silhouettes bound to cast the most striking web of shadows onto nearby walls. A mix of classic design with contemporary styling, these offerings are sure to brighten alfresco evenings this summer and beyond. For a touch of global style, opt for the hanging creations adorned with arabesque detailing, so all you need do is add your own tealight for a fabulous flickering glow.

Intricate embellishments and ornate finishes will add an exotic touch to your interior and transport your home to a different continent. This stunning collection by Marrakech is reminiscent of the artisanal treasures you’re likely to find exploring the labyrinth-like streets on a sun-dappled day in Morocco. Featuring lanterns, candle holders, side tables and more, each piece is beautifully crafted from raw or punched metals, antique silver and glistening glass. Hammered designs showcase authenticity, while jewel-tone stones inject a little vibrancy to each molten metallic offering. For a sparkling coffee table display, try filling the Mohan Mirror Tray with decorative hurricane bottles, or hang the Anish Hurricane Lantern for a mesmerising glow.

One of the most common ways to bring nature indoors is through the use of plants and freshly cut blooms. Whether they take the form of lush foliage or colourful flowers, this interior trend is relatively inexpensive and oh-so easy. Ensure this quick update is a show stopper with this elegant collection of vases and flowerpots with ceramic coasters by Edelman Asia. Crafted from glass, ceramic and bamboo, the natural beauty of each piece is enhanced with harmonious hues including taupe, greige, midnight blue and chocolate, high-gloss glazes and marbled effects. The vases feature heavy bases for stability and come in all the key shapes to invest in, including classic bottles, tall elegant vessels and curvaceous bulbs. Place them in a row along a shelf or mantelpiece, or dot around the house with one or two simple stems for a splash of colour. Grouping vases containing different flowers in the same colour is a new and popular trend we can’t resist.

While we enjoy the current heat wave (a slight exaggeration but we’re hoping our optimistic spirit prolongs this joyous time) we’re planning on making the most of the extra daylight and indulging in some sun-filled soirees and impromptu outdoor affairs fuelled by fun and laughter, carefree as children. While we like to think we’ve gained a little sophistication since the days of swings and teddy-bears’ picnics, we’re more than happy to indulge in a little child’s play courtesy of Present Time’s vibrant range of outdoor furniture and accessories, which includes acid-bright neon seating and colourful serving trays. The colour-pop picnic rugs bring out our playful side, while the cheery tablecloths and planters add to the fun – the patterned wine holders, however, are strictly for grown-ups, so pour yourself a cold glass of rosé and enjoy.

Inspiration abounds with colour that will inspire you to reinvent every corner of your abode. Whether sharp and stylish or warm and cosy, there is something to delight every one of your interior desires with this range of bamboo baskets and boxes, colourful cushions and pouffes. While colour coordination is key, the focus remains on the textural qualities of each piece – including soft-hued pouffes, tactile bubble-print cushions and woven baskets. However, we really love the mix-and-match pastel palette, which combines with modern pops of colour as seen on the juicy orange Bamboo Silk Bag and the handmade multi-function baskets, which make a great storage solution for every room.
